Transitions Academy of Indiana, LLC, opened its doors on April 1, 2014 with the goal of providing behavioral health services to at risk youth with emotional and behavioral impairments. Many of the youth in our program are considered “at risk” due to their inability to function in a less restrictive setting to include school and other community opportunities. The staff composition is made up of experienced individuals who work with the “at risk” population with an understanding that many of the behavioral impairments are oftentimes accompanied by mental health challenges that have been masked by the behavioral episodes.
We, the staff, at Transitions Academy operate by the Servant Leadership Model. This Model requires that staff learn to adapt to working as a collaborative team and helping both staff and residents in care regardless of the task. Transitions Academy places significant focus on the following core values:
Transitions Academy provides support services in a 24 hour, 365 days a year, staff awake residential setting to the adolescent population. Program offerings provide treatment services to diverse populations with a focus on the treatment of emotional, behavioral and other mental health impairments.
Transitions Academy of Indiana, LLC became 100% employee owned (ESOP) as of May 31, 2016 (previously it was 30% employee owned). Company stock is one of many benefits for employees who work at least 30 hours per week. All contributions to ESOP are made by the Company, not the employee. Your vested interest is 20% after 2 years of service, increasing by 20% with each additional year of service, becoming 100% vested after 6 years of service.
